Recently spammers flooded Facebook with misleading messages offering free gift card for Starbucks coffee. This message is designed to trick unsuspecting Facebook users into further spreading this fake offer.

Starbucks Coffee Free Gift Card message:
"For a limited time you can receive a FREE gift card to purchase Starbucks coffee and related beverages! Don't wait, this is a one time free gift offered only in November!"
When you click on a link provided in this scammy message you will be taken to a web-page with a Starbucks logo and you will be asked to click on a "Share" button and also include a comment "I love Starbucks coffee!" before proceeding. After this procedure your browser will be redirected to a non legitimate "offers" or "surveys" website. Spammers are intimidating Facebook users to click on a link by stating that there are only a limited number of free cards. Be advised that by clicking "Share" button you will post this scam message on your Facebook Wall. This is the way used by spammers to spread their fake offer.
If you proceed you will be asked to complete two of the "offers" presented on the website. Furthermore you will be asked to fill your personal information or provide you phone number. You should ignore all of these "offers" - this is a typical scam scheme. Spammers are generating revenue by tricking people into filling such surveys or participating in "offers". If you see a message "Starbucks Coffee Free Gift Card" in Facebook that asks to fill a survey before proceeding you should ignore it.
