What is Vista Antivirus 2012 and how to eliminate it?

Vista Antivirus 2012 is rogue computer security scanner. This fake program is distributed through fake online security scanners. This rogue program comes from a big family of rogue scanner such as XP Antispyware 2012, Vista Home Security 2012 and many others. This bogus program tries to persuade you into thinking that your computer is infected with malware and then buying it's licence. Don't be impressed by professional looks of this program, it doesn't scan your computer, this process is imitated. Please follow these steps to get back the control of your browser:

Step 1

When Vista Antivirus 2012 finishes it's fake scan, click the "register" button on the top-right corner of this program. And when the registration window is opened, click  "Manual Activation"

Some malicious software modifies browser settings and disables downloads of spyware and virus removing software. If you have problems downloading anti-spyware software with Internet Explorer, try downloading with Chrome, FireFox, Opera, etc.

If you can't access Internet:

Open Internet explorer, click Tools and select Internet Options. Select Connections, then click LAN settings, if a Use a proxy server for your LAN is checked, uncheck it and press OK.

After this procedure you should be able to access Internet. Now you can download anti-spyware software from our "Top spyware removers" section and run a full scan. Download, install and don't forget to update your selected anti-spyware program. Then run a full system scan.
