Ads by Remarkit removal instructions

What is Remarkit?

Remarkit is a program created by Revizer Technologies Ltd. claiming to enhance users' Internet browsing experience by integrating text highlighting, search, and share functions with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. While such functionality may seem legitimate, computer users should be aware that Remarkit is categorized as adware or a potentially unwanted application. Developers of this program use a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling', thus, most computer users install this program inadvertently without their consent.

After successful infiltration, this software generates various intrusive third party ads including, for example, banner ads, pop-ups, and in-text advertisements. Furthermore, this adware tracks users' Internet browsing activity by recording IP addresses, browser types, locations, operating systems, web addresses of pages visited, and other information. In fact, Remarkit adds not real value - its main purpose is to generate revenue from delivering intrusive online ads. The presence of Remarkit on your system can lead to malware infections and privacy issues, and therefore, you are advised to eliminate this potentially unwanted program from your computer.

Ads by remarkit

Ads by Remarkit are generated from the following sources: advertise.com, Dealply, Superfish, Verti technologies, Jollywallet, Text enhance, Alerta Descontos, Snappyimages, GetDeal, Digital Beacon, Daily Offer Service, IRobinhood, No Problem, FoxyDeals, Taboola, PriceSparrow, and Coupon Buddy. At time of research, this adware was distributed using deceptive 'download clients' and fake downloads (fake Java updates, fake browser updates, etc.) To avoid installation of potentially unwanted programs, be attentive when downloading and installing free software. If your download is managed by a download client, decline installation of advertised browser plug-ins and applications. When installing downloaded free programs, choose the 'Advanced' or 'Custom' installation options - this will reveal installation any bundled adware. Users who observe 'Ads by Remarkit' when browsing the Internet should use this removal guide to eliminate Remarkit adware from their Internet browser/s.

Some of the malicious free software download websites doesn't allow to download the chosen freeware if users decide to decline the installation of promoted software.
