Note that paying a fine using Ukash as ordered by this message is equivalent to sending your money to cyber criminals.

What is Savings Slider?

Savings Slider is an invasive browser extension created by 215 Apps (Innovative Apps). This browser add-on claims to save time and money when shopping online by displaying coupon ads when users visit shopping websites such as Amazon, eBay, etc. Note that while Savings Slider may appear legitimate and useful, many Internet users refer to it as the Savings Slider virus.

This association is made since this plug-in often installs on users' Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla FireFox) without their consent and is 'bundled' with free software downloaded from the Internet. Furthermore, this add-on collects users' Internet surfing data, which may then be sold to third parties.

MyPlayCity is a browser hijacker that is designed to promote the myplaycity.com address, a fake search engine by making certain changes in browser settings and read browsing-related data. In most cases users download and install browser hijackers unintentionally, therefore, MyPlayCity (and other apps of this type) is categorized as potentially unwanted application (PUA).

What is UnfriendApp?

The UnfriendApp browser add-on enables Facebook users to see who 'unfriended' them. This is a popular browser extension created by GenTechnologies Apps LLC.

Internet users should be aware that, although the added Facebook functionality may appear legitimate, many computer users report that after installing UnfriendApp they observe many unwanted ads and experience diminished Internet browser performance.

In fact, this program has none of the features required to run legitimate security scans - Securebit Free Antivirus reports non existent security threats in the hope that computer users fall for the scam and call the '24/7 Virus Removal Helpline'.

PC users should be aware that none of the security infections 'identified' by this program are genuine, and moreover, using the virus removal helpline could result in the loss of $49.99 for bogus malware removal services.

What is State of Qatar Ministry of Interior Virus?

The State of Qatar Ministry of Interior message blocks computer users' screens and demands payment of a $300 (300 Euro or 1500 QAR) fine using the cashU payment service provider. This is a scam.

The message is not sent by legitimate authorities from Qatar, it is a virus created by cyber criminals in the hope that unsuspecting PC users will fall for their deceptive message and pay the bogus fine.

Screen-locking messages such as these are called ransomware viruses, and cyber criminals responsible for creating these security infections make deceptive statements within the messages (such as claiming that PC users must pay a fine for alleged law violations such as using pirated video, music, software, or watching pornography).

In fact, no authorities or organizations use desktop screen-blocking messages to collect fines for any law violations. Paying this fine, as demanded by the State of Qatar Ministry of Interior ransomware virus, is equivalent to sending your money to cyber criminals.
