PlayBryte - how to remove this browser hijacker?
PlayBryte.com is a website which offers to play flash games. While on the first look this site may seem legitimate there is a down side of using playbrite.com - to play the listed flash games users are forced into downloading a browser add-on called PlayBryte. This browser add-on is a potentially unwanted program which leads to unwanted pop-up and text ads being displayed in various websites. Furthermore this browser add-on may install itself together with some freeware downloaded from the Internet. Computer users should be very careful when installing freeware - many installers offers to download some free flash games (PlayBrite browser add-on will be silently installed) together with the freeware that users are installing on their computers.

Remove Play Bryte from Google Chrome:
Click on a wrench or bars icon (top right of the screen), select "Tools" and click on "Extensions". Locate: "PlayBryte" select this entry and click on a trash can icon.
Remove Play Bryte from Mozilla FireFox:
Click "Tools" (at the top of the window), select "Add-ons". Click on "Extensions" and disable this add-on: "PlayBryte".
Optional method:
If you continue having problems with removal of Play Bryte you can reset you Mozilla FireFox settings to default.
Open Mozilla FireFox, at the top left corner of the main window click "FireFox", in the opened drop down menu choose Help and then click on Troubleshooting Information, in the opened window click on "Reset FireFox" button.
