Also Known As: allowpush.club pop-up
Damage level: Medium

What is allowpush[.]club?

allowpush[.]club is a rogue website designed to deliver dubious content and redirect visitors to other rogue sites. It is virtually identical to dozens of other deceptive sites such as news-easy.com, check-out-this.site, and dancewithlittleredpony.com.

PUAs often infiltrate computers without consent. As well as causing redirects, they deliver intrusive ads and gather information relating to browsing activity.

allowpush[.]club pop-up redirects

Potentially unwanted applications are developed to force-open new browser tabs/windows and redirect users to allowpush[.]club. This website then checks the visitor's IP address and determines the geolocation. Note that allowpush[.]club then delivers certain content or redirects users even further (or both) - everything depends on the geolocation.

In any case, users might end up encountering malicious content. Therefore, redirects to and from allowpush[.]club can lead to various system infections. As mentioned above, PUAs generate intrusive advertisements (e.g., coupons, banners, pop-ups, and similar).

These are likely to redirect to dubious websites. Some even run scripts that download/install unwanted applications. Therefore, even a single accidental click might result in high-risk computer infections. In addition, intrusive advertisements are typically delivered using tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site.

The internet is full of PUAs, all of which are virtually identical. By offering many "useful features", these applications attempt to give the impression of legitimacy and trick users to install. PUAs usually have just one purpose: to generate revenue for the developers.

They deliver no real value for regular users, cause redirects, gather information, deliver advertisements, thereby diminishing the browsing experience and posing a direct threat to your privacy/computer safety.

How did adware install on my computer?

As mentioned, PUAs typically infiltrate computers without consent, since developers proliferate them using intrusive advertising and "bundling" methods. "Bundling" is essentially stealth installation of third party applications, together with regular software.

Developers intentionally conceal PUAs behind "Custom/Advanced" settings (or other sections) of the download/installation processes.

They do not disclose this information properly. Furthermore, many users often rush these procedures and skip steps. Additionally, they click various advertisements without understanding the possible consequences. This behavior leads to inadvertent installation of third party applications.

How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?

The main reasons for computer infections are poor knowledge of these threats and careless behavior. The key to safety is caution. Therefore, pay attention when browsing the Internet and downloading/installing software.

Intrusive advertisements usually seem legitimate, however, once clicked, they redirect to dubious websites, such as gambling, pornography, adult dating, and similar. If you experience these ads/redirects, eliminate all suspicious applications and browser plug-ins.

Carefully study each window of the download/installation dialogs using the "Custom" or "Advanced" settings. Opt-out of additionally-included programs and cancel offers to download/install them. You are advised to download programs from official sources only, preferably using direct download links.

Third party downloaders/installers often include rogue applications and, thus, these tools should never be used. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?

Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.

Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
