Carambis Cleaner is virtually identical to dozens of other rogue applications, such as Xbits Speedup Pro, PC SpeedLane, mBytes System Care, and and so on. By offering many "useful features", these applications attempt to give the impression of legitimacy. In fact, these so-called system optimizers serve just one purpose: to extort money from unsuspecting users.
