Stop being redirected to and from kindedhazelho.info

What is kindedhazelho[.]info?
Like countless others, kindedhazelho[.]info is a rogue website designed to present visitors with dubious content and generate redirects to other rogue and malicious sites. Relevant examples of similar untrustworthy web pages include secretvideos2020.com, glagolinius.com, and real-news.net.
Few visitors enter these websites intentionally - usually, they are redirected by intrusive ads or Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUAs) already present on the device.
Note that these apps do not need explicit consent to be infiltrated into systems. After successful installation, however, PUAs cause redirects, deliver intrusive advertisements and gather browsing-related information.
kindedhazelho[.]info first checks visitors' IP addresses to learn their geolocations, which are key in determining its further course of action. According to their geolocations, users are presented with dubious content and/or are redirected elsewhere.
Additionally, kindedhazelho[.]info uses browser notifications, employing 'clickbait' ("to download the file, click") to trick visitors into consenting to them. If consent to notifications is granted, the site then begins running intrusive ad campaigns. The resultant advertisements are more than just a nuisance, they are also a threat to device/user safety.
When clicked, they redirect to all manner of harmful pages (e.g. untrustworthy, compromised, deceptive/scam and malicious). Some of these ads can execute scripts to download/install PUAs, without users' permission. Unwanted apps generate redirects to similarly dangerous websites and can run intrusive ad campaigns.
The latter is done by employing various tools to enable third party graphical content to be displayed on any site. Therefore, the delivered ads significantly diminish the browsing experience (by limiting browsing speed and web page visibility) and possess the aforementioned capabilities with associated risks.
Most PUAs can track data. They monitor users' browsing habits (URLs visited, pages viewed, search queries, etc.) and collect personal information (IP addresses, geolocations and other details). This vulnerable data can then be shared with third parties, potentially cyber criminals seeking to put it to nefarious use for financial gain.
In summary, PUAs can cause browser and system infiltration/infections, lead to serious privacy issues and even identify theft. Therefore, you are advised to remove all suspect applications and browser extensions/plug-ins immediately upon detection.

On initial inspection, PUAs may not seem suspicious or bogus, and appear like genuine software, which they attempt to imitate. These apps lure users into downloading/installing them with "useful" functions, however, these features rarely work as advertised and, in most cases, are nonoperational.
The sole purpose of all unwanted content is to generate revenue for the developers, while regular users receive no value. Rather than delivering any real value, PUAs force-open untrustworthy and malicious sites, run intrusive ad campaigns and track private data.
How did adware install on my computer?
PUAs proliferate via the download/installation set-ups of other programs. This deceptive marketing technique of pre-packing regular software with unwanted or malicious content is called "bundling". Rushing download/install processes (e.g. skipping steps and sections, etc.) increases the risk of inadvertently allowing bundled applications onto devices.
Certain PUAs also have "official" download web pages. When clicked, intrusive advertisements can execute scripts to stealthily download/install PUAs.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
Research all products, prior to downloading/installing. Use only official and verified download sources. P2P sharing networks (BitTorrent, eMule, Gnutella, etc.), free file-hosting websites and other third party downloaders are untrusted and should not be used.
When downloading/installing, read the terms, study all available options, use the "Custom/Advanced" settings and opt-out of additional apps, tools, features and other unwanted content. Intrusive ads typically seem normal and harmless, however, they can redirect to highly dubious pages (e.g. pornography, adult-dating, gambling and so on).
If you encounter these ads/redirects, check the system and remove all dubious applications and/or browser extensions/plug-ins without delay. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
