View removal instructions
What is View?
View is an updated version of an adware-type application called Save Serp Now. As with Save Serp Now, this application is also likely to infiltrate systems without users’ permission. Furthermore, its behavior barely differs - it gathers information and delivers intrusive advertisements. Therefore, as with Save Serp Now, View is categorized as adware and a potentially unwanted application (PUA).
After system infiltration, View employs tools to deliver coupon, banner, pop-up, and other similar advertisements. These tools enable placement of third party graphical content on any visited website. Therefore, intrusive ads are likely to conceal underlying content, significantly diminishing the browsing experience. Furthermore, they often redirect to malicious sites and execute scripts that stealthily download/install malware. Therefore, even a single accidental click might result in high-risk computer infections. Another important issue is information tracking. As with most adware, View continually records information relating to browsing activity. Collected data typically includes personal information (IP addresses, website URLs visited, search queries, and so on) and is shared with third parties (potentially, cyber criminals). These people generate revenue by misusing private information. Therefore, data tracking can lead to serious privacy issues or even identity theft. We strongly recommend that you uninstall View adware immediately.

There are dozens of adware-type applications that share similarities with View. The list of examples includes (but is not limited to) Fassistant, SearchAwesome, ImpaqSpeed, and Browsing Secure. All offer "useful features", however, potentially unwanted programs such as View are designed only to generate revenue for the developers. Rather than delivering any real value for regular users, PUPs deliver intrusive advertisements and record sensitive data, thereby posing a direct threat to your privacy and Internet browsing safety.
How did View install on my computer?
View often infiltrates systems without users’ permission, since developers promote it using intrusive advertisements and a deceptive marketing method called "bundling" (stealth installation of PUPs together with regular software). Developers hide "bundled" applications within "Custom/Advanced' settings (or other sections) of the download/installation processes. Furthermore, many users are likely to click advertisements and skip download/installation steps - behavior that often commonly to inadvertent installation of PUPs such as View. In this way, users expose their systems to risk of various infections and compromise their privacy.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
To prevent this situation, be very cautious when downloading/installing software and browsing the Internet in general. Carefully analyze each window of the download/installation dialogs using the "Custom" or "Advanced" settings. Opt-out of all additionally-included programs and decline offers to download/install them. You are advised to download your programs from official sources only, using direct download links. Third party downloaders/installers are often monetized using the "bundling" method. Therefore, these tools should never be used. Note that intrusive ads typically seem legitimate, but once clicked, redirect to dubious websites. If you encounter these advertisements, immediately remove all suspicious applications and browser plug-ins. If your computer is already infected with View, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate this adware.
