Click-it-now.online POP-UP Redirect
Written by Tomas Meskauskas on (updated)
What is click-it-now.online?
Identical to adskpak.com, smarrtoffer.site, deloton.com and many others, click-it-now.online is a rogue website that redirects to various untrustworthy websites.
Few users visit adskpak.com intentionally. In most cases, they are redirected to it by potentially unwanted programs (PUP) that infiltrate systems without consent. Furthermore, PUPs often cause unwanted/intrusive advertisements and record user-system information.
Once a potentially unwanted program has infiltrated the system, it redirects users to the click-it-now.online rogue website, which then causes even more (usually 2-3) redirects to other untrustworthy websites that might contain malicious content. PUPs deliver various intrusive ads such as pop-ups, coupons, banners etc.
These are displayed using tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site. Therefore, they can conceal underlying content of any open website. Clicked intrusive/unwanted ads also tend to redirect to untrustworthy websites or even execute scripts that download and install potentially unwanted programs, including malware.
Redirects by click-it-now.online or clicked intrusive ads can result in various high-risk computer infections. Furthermore, potentially unwanted programs often record user-system information such as IP addresses, visited websites, search queries, keystrokes, and other data that might include personal or sensitive information.
This information is shared with third parties (potentially cyber criminals) to generate revenue for developers. These actions often lead to privacy issues or even identity theft.
Furthermore, some PUPs are known to run background tasks that result in reduced computer performance. You are advised to remove these programs from your computer if you notice any of the above symptoms.

The Internet is full of potentially unwanted programs of this type. Most offer "useful" features and tools in an attempt to give the impression of legitimacy so that they can trick users into downloading them. In fact, these potentially unwanted programs provide ads, misleading redirects, and generate revenue without delivering any functionality/value.
How did adware install on my computer?
In most cases, potentially unwanted programs can be downloaded from their official websites, however, many users install them by clicking ads or via the "bundling" method. Bundling is stealth installation of programs with other regular software. Therefore, users often install potentially unwanted programs inadvertently.
Developers tend not to disclose these installations properly and hide bundled software in "Custom"/"Advanced" options or other settings of the installation processes.
Furthermore, many users often skip installation steps by quickly clicking "Next" (or other similar buttons). In this way, they agree to everything, including installation of additional unwanted software. This careless behaviour allows PUPs to be installed, thus causing risk of various computer infections and privacy issues.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
Download software from official sources using direct links only. Avoid using any third party software downloaders or torrents. Once you have the software downloaded, install it carefully. Pay attention to each detail - analyze each step by checking settings and options such as "Custom", "Advanced", "Manual", etc. Avoid clicking ads.
They may appear legitimate, however, cyber criminals invest time and money into their design, thus making them seem convincing. If you have clicked an ad and been redirected to an untrustworthy website (such as gambling, adult dating, pornography, etc.), close the site immediately and check if it has installed any unwanted plug-in, extension, or add-on.
Uninstall any suspicious entries immediately. Antivirus software must be installed and enabled at all times. If your computer is already infected with click-it-now.online, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate this adware.
