Touchpushthen.info redirect removal instructions
What is touchpushthen.info?
touchpushthen.info is a rogue website designed to cause redirects to other dubious sites. It is virtually identical to cixtrac.com, defpush.com, tweakingtools.info, and dozens of others. Research shows that many visitors arrive at this site inadvertently - they are redirected by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) or intrusive ads displayed on other rogue sites. Be aware that PUAs usually infiltrate systems without users' consent. As well as causing redirects, they deliver intrusive advertisements and gather information relating to web browsing activity.
After successful system infiltration, potentially unwanted applications open new browser tabs/windows and redirect users to touchpushthen.info, which then displays content (potentially malicious) and causes several additional redirects depending on the user's geo-location. Thus, redirects to and from touchpushthen.info might lead to various system infections. The same applies to intrusive advertisements. Unwanted applications deliver intrusive advertisements (coupons, banners, pop-ups, etc.) that might also redirect to malicious websites or even execute scripts that download and install other unwanted apps (or even malware). Therefore, clicking them can lead to system infections. Intrusive ads are delivered using tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site. Therefore, they often conceal underlying content, significantly diminishing the browsing experience. Another important issue is information tracking. Most PUAs record information such as IP addresses, search queries, URLs visited, pages viewed, and so on. This collected data might include personal details that developers share with third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) who misuse it to generate revenue. Thus, having information-tracking apps installed on your computer can lead to serious privacy issues. For these reasons, we strongly advise that you uninstall all potentially unwanted apps immediately.

The internet is full of potentially unwanted applications that share many similarities. Most offer "useful features", however, few enable the functions promised. In most cases, these false claims are merely attempts to give the impression of legitimacy. Potentially unwanted applications typically have just one purpose: to generate revenue for the developers. Rather than giving any real value for regular users, they cause redirects, deliver intrusive advertisements, and record user-system information. In doing so, PUAs diminish the browsing experience and pose a direct threat to your privacy and web browsing safety.
How did adware install on my computer?
Potentially unwanted applications are usually distributed using intrusive advertisements and a deceptive marketing method called "bundling". Therefore, many users install PUAs inadvertently, without their consent. "Bundling" is essentially stealth installation of third-party software with regular apps. Developers are not honest enough to disclose this information properly. They hide "bundled" apps within "Custom/Advanced" settings (or other sections) of the download/installation processes. In addition, many users often skip steps and click advertisements - behavior that leads to inadvertent installation of PUAs. In this way, users expose their systems to risk of various infections and compromise their privacy.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
Lack of knowledge and careless behavior are the main reasons for computer infections. The key to safety is caution. Therefore, pay attention when browsing the internet and downloading/installing software. Remember that intrusive ads typically seem legitimate, but most redirect to dubious websites, such as gambling, adult dating, pornography, etc. If you experience these ads/redirects, immediately eliminate all dubious applications/browser plug-ins. Furthermore, select "Custom/Advanced" settings and closely observe each step of the download/installation processes. Opt-out of additionally-included programs and decline offers to download/install them. You are advised to download your software from official sources only (using direct download links) and avoid using third party downloaders/installers (these tools often include rogue apps). If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Spyhunter for Windows to automatically eliminate them.
