How to stop redirects to and from globallyreinvation.com
Written by Tomas Meskauskas on (updated)
What is globallyreinvation[.]com?
globallyreinvation[.]com is a rogue site similar to findyourpleasure3.life, personal-video.live, classicgift.download and thousands of others. It operates by redirecting visitors to other untrusted or malicious websites, and/or by presenting them with dubious content.
Few users enter globallyreinvation[.]com intentionally - most are redirected to it by intrusive ads or Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUAs) already infiltrated into the system. These applications do not need express user permission to be installed onto devices. PUAs cause redirects, deliver intrusive ad campaigns and track browsing-related information.
globallyreinvation[.]com first checks visitors' IP addresses to learn their geolocations. Whether users are redirected elsewhere or are presented with dubious material depends on their geolocations.
Additionally, globallyreinvation[.]com employs browser notifications and attempts to trick users into consenting to them with 'clickbait' ("Human Verification / Press 'Allow' to verify, that you are not a robot"). If the notifications are enabled, globallyreinvation[.]com starts running intrusive advertisement campaigns.
As well as being a nuisance, when clicked, these ads redirect to various sale-based, untrusted/rogue, deceptive, scam, compromised and malicious pages. Some intrusive ads can be triggered (when clicked) to execute scripts designed to stealthily download/install rogue software (e.g. PUAs).
These unwanted apps can force-open similarly harmful sites and/or deliver intrusive ad campaigns. Furthermore, most PUAs have data tracking capabilities. They can monitor users' browsing activity (URLs visited, web pages viewed, search queries typed, etc.) and collect personal information derived from it (IP addresses, geolocations and other details).
This data typically contains personally identifiable information. PUA developers often monetize this data by sharing and/or selling it to third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) seeking to misuse it for profit. To summarize, the presence of unwanted apps on devices can lead to system infections, financial loss, serous privacy issues and even identity theft.
To protect device integrity and user safety, you are advised to immediately remove all suspicious applications and browser extensions/plug-ins.

PUAs often seem legitimate and useful, and people are tempted into download/installation with offers of "useful" functionalities, however, these features are seldom operational. The only purpose of PUAs is to generate revenue for the developers.
Rather than delivering any real value, this software force-opens untrusted and malicious websites, runs intrusive advertisement campaigns and collects private data.
How did adware install on my computer?
PUAs are often downloaded/installed inadvertently with other products. This deceptive marketing method of pre-packing regular software with unwanted or malicious additions is termed "bundling".
By rushing through download/installation processes (e.g. skimming or ignoring terms, skipping steps and sections, etc.), many users inadvertently endanger their devices with infiltration of bundled content. Some PUAs have "official" promotional sites from which they can be downloaded. Once clicked, intrusive ads can execute scripts to download/install PUAs without users' consent.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
You are strongly advised to research all products to verify their legitimacy, prior to download/installation. All downloads must be performed from official and verified sources. Untrusted channels such as unofficial and free file-hosting websites, Peer-to-Peer sharing networks and other third party downloaders commonly offer deceptive and bundled content.
When downloading/installing, read the terms, explore all available options, use the "Custom" or "Advanced" settings and opt-out of supplementary apps, tools, features, etc. Intrusive ads may seem legitimate and innocuous, however, they can redirect to dubious web pages (e.g. gambling, adult-dating, pornography and others).
If you encounter these advertisements/redirects, check the system and remove all dubious applications and browser extensions/plug-ins without delay. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
