All Day Savings removal instructions

What is All Day Savings?

All Day Savings is a deceptive browser extension claiming to save time and money by displaying special deals/discounts available within online stores, enabling comparison shopping, coupons, and other functions. This may seem legitimate and useful functionality, however, be aware that All Day Savings is categorized as adware or a potentially unwanted program (PUP) since it employs a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling' to install on Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome). Bundling is stealth installation of additional applications together with the chosen software. Most users infect their computers with All Day Savings during download of free software via small programs called 'download clients' on freeware websites such as download.com, soft32.com, softonic.com, and many others.

All Day Savings adware

Following successful infiltration, All Day Savings behaves in a dubious manner by generating intrusive online advertisements and tracking users' Internet browsing activity. The software generates numerous intrusive online advertisements including transitional, banner, comparison shopping, and in-text ads. It also converts words within websites into hyperlinks (which redirect to advertisements such as InterYield, Nav-Links, and many others). There is a high probability that clicking these advertisements will cause high-risk adware or malware infections. Furthermore, this potentially unwanted program continually monitors users' Internet browsing activity by collecting various software and hardware information including Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, unique identifier numbers, operating system and browser types, website URLs visited, pages viewed, search queries entered, and other similar details that may be personally identifiable. This behavior may result in serious privacy issues or identity theft, and therefore, Internet users are strongly advised to eliminate this PUP from their computers.

All Day Savings is similar to other rogue browser extensions that use bundling as an installation method. For example: Coupon Clipster, SmartSaver, and OkitSpace. Neither All Day Savings, nor any of these other PUPs, add any real value for the user - their purpose is to generate income by the display of intrusive online advertisements. All Day Savings adware is distributed via download clients on freeware download websites. Download clients are used as these websites' free service monetization tool, since they offer installation of advertised '100% legitimate' browser add-ons together with the chosen free software. Thus, reckless download and installation of freeware risks computer infection with adware or malware. This situation can be prevented by closely inspecting each step of the free software download process and never accepting installation of any additional programs offered. If you are installing downloaded software, select the 'Custom' or 'Advanced' installation options - this will reveal any hidden applications listed for installation and allow you to decline them. If you have already installed All Day Savings, and observe intrusive online advertisements while surfing the Internet, follow this removal guide to eliminate this adware from your Internet browsers.
