What is Between Lines?
The Between Lines browser add-on claims to improve the Internet browsing experience by enabling various features such as coupons and comparison shopping. The developers (SuperWeb LLC) present Between Lines as a legitimate extension, however, it is categorized as adware.
This add-on is distributed using a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling', which allows installation of additional applications together with the chosen software.
After infiltration on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, Between Lines generates intrusive advertisements such as banner, pop-up, interstitial, transitional, etc. that commonly lead to bogus websites containing infectious content.
Furthermore, Between Lines records various software and hardware information including search queries entered, websites visited, pages viewed, unique identifier numbers, IP addresses, and so on. Click the Firefox menu (at the top right corner of the main window), select "Add-ons". Click "Extensions", in the opened window, remove "Between Lines".
