First discovered by malware researcher, Raby, Boooam is high-risk ransomware that stealthily infiltrates computers and encrypts most stored data.

During encryption, Boooam appends each filename with the ".boooam@cock.li" extension plus the developer's email address (e.g., "sample.jpg" might be renamed to a filename such as "sample.jpg.booam@cock_li").
