Like many other technical support scam websites, this one is designed to trick visitors into believing that if they will not call the provided number and solve the occurred problem, then their files will be damaged, personal information stolen, etc. Usually, scammers behind pages attempt to trick unsuspecting users into paying money for unnecessary services, software or even providing a remote access to their computers. In one way on another, such pages should never be trusted. It is worthwhile to mention that users do not visit them intentionally. In most cases such sites get opened via clicked deceptive ads, other shady pages or by installed potentially unwanted applications (PUAs).
The text on this scam page is written in German language, although, visitors from different countries may see text written in different languages. Basically, this website is designed to trick visitors into believing that their computer is locked to prevent further damage, it is infected with a virus and spyware, and data like email and Facebook login credentials, credit card details, and some personal files are stolen. Its main purpose is to deceive visitors into contacting scammers by calling the 044 586 76 58 number. In most cases, when scammers behind such pages are contacted, they try to trick users into paying money for unnecessary software and/or services. Also, it is common that they ask users for a permission to remotely access their computers. By having such access scammers could install some malware on the operating system (e.g., ransomware, some Trojan-type malware), steal some personal information or use it for other malicious purposes.
