What kind of page is klexposycliass[.]com?
Our researchers discovered the klexposycliass[.]com rogue webpage while investigating suspicious sites. After we examined this page, we learned that it promotes spam browser notifications and redirects users to other (likely untrustworthy/dangerous) websites.
Klexposycliass[.]com and similar webpages are most commonly accessed via redirects caused by sites utilizing rogue advertising networks.
Klexposycliass[.]com overview
The behavior of rogue websites (i.e., what they host/promote) might be influenced by the visitor's IP address/ geolocation. When we visited klexposycliass[.]com, it presented us with a simple CAPTCHA test – "Click 'Allow' to confirm that you are not a robot".
Users inadvertently permit klexposycliass[.]com to deliver browser notifications by completing this fake verification test. After we pressed "Allow", it resulted in a redirect to a webpage running a scam similar to "Norton Antivirus - Your Windows 10 Might Be Infected", "Norton Security - Your PC is infected with 5 viruses!", "Norton - Scan Your Windows PC For Viruses In Seconds", and many others.
Rogue sites use their browser notifications to run intrusive advert campaigns. These advertisements endorse online scams (phishing, technical support, etc.), unreliable/hazardous software (adware, browser hijackers, PUAs, etc.), and malware (trojans, ransomware, cryptominers, etc.).
In summary, through webpages like klexposycliass[.]com – users can experience system infections, severe privacy issues, financial losses, and identity theft.

Browser notification spam in general
We have written about numerous rogue pages; coliatang[.]com, vedit[.]sbs, stylechainconnect[.]com, and upspeedconnection[.]com are merely some of our latest articles. These websites are designed to push browser notifications, and this goal is often achieved by using various lures (e.g., fake CAPTCHA tests, adult-oriented content, clickbait, etc.).
Spam notifications endorse deceptive and malicious material. Note that while legitimate products or services may be encountered through these adverts – they are unlikely to be promoted by any official parties. It is most probable that this promotion is undertaken by scammers who abuse the endorsed content's affiliate programs to acquire illegitimate commissions.
How did klexposycliass[.]com gain permission to deliver spam notifications?
Websites cannot deliver browser notifications without user consent. Therefore, you have likely accessed klexposycliass[.]com and permitted the advertisement delivery by clicking "Allow", "Allow Notifications", or a similar option presented on this page.
How to prevent deceptive sites from delivering spam notifications?
To avoid receiving undesirable or deceptive browser notifications – do not enable suspect webpages to deliver them (i.e., do not click "Allow", "Allow Notifications", etc.). Instead, ignore or deny notification delivery from such pages (i.e., press "Block", "Block Notifications", etc.).
Should your browser continuously force-open questionable sites without prompt, it could be due to adware installed on it or the system. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
