HQube adware removal instructions
What is HQube?
Created by Robokid Technologies Inc, the HQube browser plug-in claims to enhance users' YouTube (and other video streaming websites) experience by configuring videos to the highest available quality. While some computer users may find this functionality useful, in fact, the HQube add-on is categorized as adware or a potentially unwanted application. The software infiltrates browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox) using a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling'. Computer users often install HQube inadvertently without their consent when downloading free software.
After successful installation, this browser plug-in diminishes browser performance and generates intrusive ads including, for example, price comparison ads, coupons, pop-unders/ups, banner, inline text, and transitional ads. Furthermore, this browser extension tracks users' Internet browsing activity on all websites visited. Having HQube installed on your Internet browsers can lead to malware infections and privacy issues, and therefore, you are advised to eliminate this adware. This browser extension adds no real value - it is a useless program, the purpose of which, is to generate revenue from the display of intrusive online advertisements.
HQube displays ads from the following sources: advertise.com, Dealply, Superfish, Verti technologies, Jollywallet, Text enhance, Alerta Descontos, Snappyimages, GetDeal, Digital Beacon, Daily Offer Service, IRobinhood, No Problem, FoxyDeals, Taboola, PriceSparrow, and Coupon Buddy. The HQube browser extension adds no real value for Internet users - it diminishes browser performance, generates intrusive ads, and tracks users' Internet browsing activity. This adware is identical to HQ-Quality, HQ-V-PRO, HQ Video Professional, and HD-Plus. To avoid installation of these rogue browser extensions, be attentive when downloading and installing free software. If your download is managed by a 'download client', decline installation of any advertised browser plug-ins. When installing downloaded free programs, choose the 'Advanced' or 'Custom' installation options - this will reveal any bundled browser plug-ins listed for installation. Users who observe 'Ads by HQube' when browsing the Internet, should use this removal guide to eliminate this adware from their Internet browser/s.
