How to remove AnalyzerSearch adware from Mac?
What is AnalyzerSearch?
AnalyzerSearch is an adware-type application with browser hijacker qualities. Following successful infiltration, this app runs intrusive advertisement campaigns and makes alterations to browser settings - in order to promote fake search engines. Due to the dubious techniques used to distribute AnalyzerSearch, it is also considered to be a PUA (Potentially Unwanted Application). Furthermore, most PUAs collect browsing-related information and it is highly likely that AnalyzerSearch possesses such data-tracking abilities as well.
Adware enables the placement of pop-ups, banners, coupons, surveys and other intrusive advertisements - typically, on any visited website. The delivered ads seriously diminish the browsing quality, as they overlay webpage content and slow down the browsing speed. Additionally, intrusive adverts pose a threat to device/user safety. Since upon being clicked, these advertisements redirect to various unreliable/malicious sites and some can even stealthily download/install software (e.g. PUAs). Browser hijackers can reassign browsers' homepage, default search engine and new tab/window URLs - to the addresses of fake web searchers. Hence, with a browser hijacker installed: every single search query typed into the URL bar and search query typed into the URL bar - redirect to the promoted address. Illegitimate search engines are seldom operational, they tend to redirect to (or cause redirection chains ending with) Google, Yahoo, Bing and other genuine ones. Browser hijackers can also restrict/deny access to the browsers' settings and/or undo any changes users attempt to make to their browsers. Therefore, recovering a hijacked browser is impossible without removing the software affecting it. Most PUAs (adware and data tracking abilities) can track data. They can monitor browsing activity (URLs visited, pages viewed, search queries typed, etc.) and collect personal information extracted from it (IP addresses, geolocations and other details). The collected data is then shared with and/or sold to third parties (potentially, cyber criminals). To ensure device integrity and user safety, all suspicious applications and browser extensions/plug-ins must be eliminated without delay.

AssistiveValue, ScalableRemote, MarketService - are a few examples of other adware-type applications. They appear ordinary and offer a wide variety of "useful" functionalities. These features are rarely operational. In fact, this applies to nearly all PUAs. The only goal of unwanted software is to generate revenue for the developers; to users - they have no real value and may cause serious problems. PUAs operate by causing redirects, running intrusive ad campaigns, hijacking browsers and collecting private data.
How did AnalyzerSearch install on my computer?
PUAs are distributed via download/installation setups of other software. This deceptive marketing method of packing regular programs with unwanted or malicious additions - is called "bundling". Rushed download/installation processes (e.g. ignored terms, skipped steps and sections, etc.) - increase the risk of unintentionally allowing bundled content into the system. Intrusive adverts proliferate PUAs as well. Upon being clicked, the ads can execute scripts to download/install these applications without user permission. Select PUAs have "official" download webpages.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
It is important to research software before download/installation and/or purchase. Only official and verified download channels must be used. Since untrustworthy download sources, e.g. unofficial and free file-hosting websites, Peer-to-Peer sharing networks and other third party downloaders - commonly offer deceptive and/or bundled content. When downloading/installing, it is recommended to read terms, explore all available options, use the "Custom/Advanced" settings and opt-out from supplementary apps, tools, features, and so on. Intrusive advertisements appear legitimate, however they redirect to various unreliable and questionable sites (e.g. gambling, pornography, adult-dating, etc.). In case of encounters with such ads and/or redirects, the system must be inspected and all suspicious applications and browser extensions/plug-ins - immediately removed from it. If your computer is already infected with AnalyzerSearch, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for macOS to automatically eliminate this adware.
