What is Information Vent?

Developed and released by SuperWeb LLC, Information Vent is an adware-type browser extension offering a wide range of supposedly useful features such as comparison shopping, coupons, etc. Some users may find this add-on legitimate and useful, however, Information Vent is categorized as a potentially unwanted program (PUP).

SuperWeb LLC distribute this bogus extension using a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling', which enables them to stealthily install applications together with regular software. Windows 11 users:

Optional method:
