What is KOMENDA GŁÓWNA POLICJI?

The KOMENDA GŁÓWNA POLICJI message states that the system has been blocked ("komputer jest zablokowany") due to the user watching pornography or downloading copyrighted files (music, video, etc.)

This is a scam, a ransomware infection created by cyber criminals whose main purpose is to use this screen locker to trick unsuspecting PC users (predominantly from Poland) into paying a bogus 100 Euro (or 500 PLN) fine. Paying this fine is equivalent to sending your money to cyber criminals.

The ransomware originates from a family of screen lockers called Reveton and it demands payment of the bogus fine using the Ukash or PaySafeCard pre-paid card services. The message exploits the name and graphics of KOMENDA GŁÓWNA POLICJI.

No international authorities (including Poland's Police) use such methods (blocking computer screens) to collect fines for any law violations. Deceptive messages such as these are localized with many variants of this deceptive screen locker targeting various countries.

For example, PC users from the USA, with computers infected by this ransomware, receive the the deceptive message in English and text adapted to appear as if sent by the FBI Cybercrime Division.

If you observe this type of message on your computer desktop, your computer is infected with a ransomware virus. Pan/Pani naruszył/a «Ustawę o prawach autorskich i prawach pokrewnych" (wideo, muzyka, oprogramowanie) oraz nielegalnie używał/a lub rozpowszechniał/a treści chronionych prawem autorskim, tym samym naruszając artykuł 128 Kodeksu Karnego Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.
Artykuł 128 Kodeksu Karnego przewiduje karę grzywny od 200 do 500 minimalnych wynagrodzeń lub pozbawienia wolności od 2 do 8 lat.
Pan/Pani oglądał/a lub rozpowszechniał zakazane treści pornograficzne (pornografia dziecięca/zoofilia itp.), w taki sposób naruszając artykuł 202 Kodeksu Karnego Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.
Artykuł 202 Kodeksu Karnego przewiduje pozbawienia wolności od 4 do 12 lat.

Artykuł 208 Kodeksu Karnego przewiduje karę grzywny do PLN 500.000 i/łub pozbawienia wolności od 4 do 9 lat.
Nielegalny dostęp został zainicjowany z Pańskiego komputera bez Pańskiej wiedzy lub zgody; komputer może być zainfekowany przez złośliwe oprogramowanie, dlatego też Pan/Pani narusza Ustawę «0 niedbałym wykorzystaniu komputera osobistego..
Artykuł 210 Kodeksu Karnego przewiduje karę grzywny w wysokości PLN 10.000 do PLN 40.000.
Rozpowszechnianie spamu lub innego rodzaju bezprawne reklamy zostały dokonane z Pańskiego komputera jako działalność w celu osiągania zysku lub bez Pańskiej wiedzy; komputer może być zainfekowany złośliwym oprogramowaniem.
Artykuł 212 Kodeksu Karnego przewiduje karę do PLN 1.250.000 i pozbawienie wolności do 6 lat. W przypadku, iż dziatahość ta została dokonana bez Pańskiej wiedzy, spada Pan/Pani na mocy wspomnianego artykułu 210 Kodeksu Karnego Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.
Pańska osobowość i adres są obecnie identyfikowane, sprawa karna zostanie wszczęte przeciwko Pan/Pani w ramach jednego lub więcej artykułów określonych powyżej w ciągu najbliższych 72 godzin.
Zgodnie z poprawką Kodeksu Karnego Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej z dnia 04 lutego 2013 roku, niniejsze naruszenie prawa (jeśli nie jest powtórzone - po raz pierwszy) można uznać jako warunkowe w przypadku, gdy Pan/Pani zapłaci grzywnę na rzecz państwa.
Grzywny mogą być wypłacane tylko w ciągu 72 godzin po naruszeniu. Jak tylko 72 godziny upłynął, możliwość zapłaty grzywny wygasa, i sprawa karna zostanie wszczęta wobec Pana/Pani automatycznie w ciągu 72 godzin! Wysokość grzywny wynosi PLN 500 kub 6100. Może Pan/Pani zapłacić grzywnę Ukash lub PaySafeCard. Kiedy Pan/Pani zapłaci grzywnę, komputer będzie odblokowany w ciągu od 1 do 72 godzin po wpływu pieniędzy na konto Państwa.

Step 2
